Put simply I help coaches, consultants and practitioners solidify their marketing so that they know exactly WHO they are selling WHAT to and HOW. 

My aim is to have every client reach marketing ‘bliss’ where their marketing has become as automated as possible and the time they do spend doing marketing activities is planned and efficient.

 

So how did I get to here?

(The short version)

I have a background as an event manager, social media strategist, digital producer, digital account management and digital strategist. When I decided to quit my job to start my own business I first became a VA (virtual assistant) – giving me unique access to multiple business and their day to day operations. I was not only able to help improve their marketing but see how better productivity and delegation within the business actually also had a huge impact on the outcome. I took these learnings, coupled with my experience in digital marketing and strategy and began coaching and consulting coaches, consultants and practitioners how to create effective marketing strategies that were both manageable but also scalable.

I’m not just a coach that teaches theory. I still work on implementation with several clients, and carefully balance the coaching and consulting work I do to ensure that those I work with benefit from the ongoing and continued learnings as a result of me being exposed daily to what is working now and why.

So how did I get to here?

(The longer version)

As an entrepreneur you know yourself that success in life and business is never a straight line. But I feel like everything I did before I started my business was taking me 1 step closer to where I am today. I knew I always wanted to get products and services in front of people in fun and interesting ways.

I started my career in event management travelling around Australia executing conferences, seminars and other events for large corporations and associations alike. However the pull of online really started to tug it’s strings in 2009. I was already building and running several websites and online communities for myself, but I left my job at that point to get a degree in Commerce with a major in marketing – something I did get – with distinction average. Doing university as a muture age student was an experience in itself!

Whilst studying I continued to run websites and social media for myself and then freelanced for others. That led to me being head hunted and offered a job with a leading digital advertising agency before I was barely half way through my degree.

The start of my online obsession

I joined the award winning digital creative agency as a Community Manager (Social Media specialist) and then transitioned into roles as a Digital Producer, Junior Strategist, and Account Manager. During this time I was at the heart of countless campaigns of varying sizes and budgets, many of which were for large brands in a variety of industries including household goods, fashion, confectionery, alcohol, banking and finance, personal hygiene, beverages and teas, movie releases, and gaming.

But that’s not where the story ends … obviously

I loved my time in digital advertising but found that my passion didn’t lie with serving large and often faceless corporations. I wanted to work with people at the heart of their business. Just like you!

So I quit my job and began working as a highly skilled virtual assistant giving me first hand experience with best practices for outsourcing and optimising the productivity of business owners. This allowed me to hone in on the ins and outs of marketing small businesses, not as an outsider, but as someone who was exposed to all elements of the business and how it ran. It’s a unique perspective that I believe gives me the edge I do today.

From there I then built my business as it is today. All the elements of my past have nicely come together to give me unique experience in the ins and out of small businesses and the ways in which they can work efficiently and effectively.

It really is my passion to help coaches, consultants and practitioners get the most out of their marketing efforts. Reducing the stress, confusion and lack of things like time and technical know how that so many feel. I truly want my clients to feel like their marketing is under control and they know exactly what is happening and why and what they need to focus on.

I’m not just a coach that teaches theory. I still work on implementation with several clients through the consulting offerings in my business, and carefully balance the coaching and consulting work I do to ensure that those I work with benefit from the ongoing and continued learnings as a result of me being exposed daily to what is working now and why.
